A long-lived Egyptian Maliki reader who was shaykh of the readers at the Ahmadi Mosque in Tanta. He studied with Abd al-Mun'im al-Bindari and taught the major ten readings to many, including his son Ahmad Yusuf Ajur. He died in 1321 AH.
