Shihab al-Din Abu al-Samah Ahmad ibn Rajab al-Baqari, a Shafi'i Qur'an reader of Cairo. He read to Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Qasim al-Baqari, and Abd al-Rahman al-Ajhuri among others read to him, making him a link in many Egyptian chains of the readings. He wrote a commentary on the Ajurrumiyya.
