Egyptian Qur'an teacher from the village of Abnas (Quwaysna, Minufiyya), born around 1885 CE. He took the ten readings from Shaykh Ghunaym Muhammad Ghunaym among other teachers, served as imam, Qur'an teacher and Friday preacher in villages of Sharqiyya, and drew students from Egypt and abroad. He died in 1958 CE at Kafr Ayyub (Bilbeis) and was buried there.
