Ta-Ha is the life of Musa told at length — the fire on the mountain, the staff, Pharaoh, the magicians, the sea, and the golden calf — framed by an opening that says the Qur'an was not sent down to make anyone miserable.
At this pace the whole surah takes 45 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ طه…ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
A reminder for whoever fears; the Most Merciful established above the Throne, to whom belong the most beautiful names.
Study days 1-3
وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ…أُوحِىَ إِلَيْنَآ أَنَّ ٱلْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
The sacred valley, the staff and the hand, the request for Harun, the mother's basket on the river, and: go to Pharaoh and speak gently.
Study days 3-16
قَالَ فَمَن رَّبُّكُمَا يَٰمُوسَىٰ…وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ
Who is your Lord, the day of adornment, the ropes that seemed to move — and the magicians prostrating before the threat of crucifixion.
Study days 17-27
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ قَدْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَٰعَدْنَٰكُمْ جَانِبَ…لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًۭا
The manna and quails, the forty nights, the Samiri's calf that lowed, Harun's defence, and the calf burned and scattered in the sea.
Study days 27-33
كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ…فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ ٱلسَّوِىِّ وَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ
The trumpet, the day no intercession helps, the covenant Adam forgot, and: whoever turns from My reminder will have a constricted life.
Study days 33-45
It is the surah 'Umar was reading when he accepted Islam, and its first eight verses are about mercy before a single event is narrated.
