Fussilat records what the Makkans said about the Qur'an — our hearts are covered, do not listen to it, drown it out — and answers with the creation of the heavens and earth, and with the day a person's own skin gives evidence against him.
At this pace the whole surah takes 18 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ حمٓ…ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَحِفْظًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
Their answer: our hearts are covered; then the earth in two days, its provisions in four, and the smoke that was the sky.
Study days 1-4
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَٰعِقَةًۭ مِّثْلَ صَٰعِقَةِ عَادٍۢ…ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
The wind of ill omen in days of misfortune; the day the ears, eyes and skins testify — and the companions who led them astray.
Study days 5-10
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ تَتَنَزَّلُ…رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِى شَكٍّۢ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍۢ
The angels descending upon them; repel with what is better and the enemy becomes a close friend; and the earth that stirs when rain falls.
Study days 10-15
مَّنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۗ وَمَا…مِّن لِّقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مُّحِيطٌۢ
In the horizons and within themselves, until it is clear this is the truth — and: is your Lord not a witness over all things?
Study days 16-18
It contains the instruction to repel evil with what is better, on the promise that an enemy will become like a close friend — offered in the middle of the hardest opposition.
