Fatir opens on angels with wings in twos, threes and fours, and closes on the fact that nothing on the earth would be left alive if people were held to account immediately. Between them: colours, seas, and who actually fears Allah.
At this pace the whole surah takes 15 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ…نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
Angels with wings; what mercy He opens none can withhold; and Shaytan is an enemy, so take him as an enemy.
Study days 1-3
وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًۭا فَسُقْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ…ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Clouds driven to a dead land; the good word ascends; one sea fresh and one salt, and from both you take fresh meat and ornaments to wear.
Study days 3-9
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ…عَٰلِمُ غَيْبِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Fruits, mountains and people of varied hues; only those of knowledge fear Him; and those who recite the Book and spend, hoping for a trade that will not perish.
Study days 9-13
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ…فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۢا
The oaths they swore that a warner would find them more guided; and if Allah were to take people to task, no creature would be left.
Study days 13-15
'It is only those of His servants who have knowledge that fear Allah' is placed among verses about mountains of different colours and fruits of different kinds — knowledge here means noticing.
