Az-Zumar is the surah of sincerity — the word appears in its opening verses three times — and it ends with two processions: those driven to the Fire in groups and those led to the Garden in groups, with the gates opened differently for each.
At this pace the whole surah takes 25 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ…يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
The night wrapping the day, creation in stages in three darknesses; and: is one who is devout through the night the same as one who is not?
Study days 1-7
أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ…ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
A breast opened to Islam, the best of speech; a parable of a man owned by quarrelling partners; and: do not despair of the mercy of Allah.
Study days 8-14
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ…جَآءَتْكَ ءَايَٰتِى فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
The one He takes and the one He returns; the shrinking of hearts at His name alone; and: yes, My verses came to you and you rejected them.
Study days 14-20
وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ تَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم…وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَقِيلَ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
The disbelievers to Hell with its gates opened as they arrive, and the God-fearing to the Garden with its gates already open — and the angels around the Throne.
Study days 20-25
It contains the verse that stops anyone from despairing, addressed to servants who transgressed against themselves, and the surah does not qualify it.
