Az-Zukhruf answers the complaint that the Qur'an should have come to a great man of one of the two cities, and its reply is that gold and silver are so worthless to Allah that He would have roofed the disbelievers' houses with them.
At this pace the whole surah takes 30 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ حمٓ…فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
An Arabic Qur'an; the ships and cattle He made subject to you; the daughters they assigned to Him; and every warner met with the same sentence.
Study days 1-9
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌۭ مِّمَّا…مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلْنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةًۭ يُعْبَدُونَ
A lasting word among his descendants; the demand for a great man of the two cities; and the roofs of silver He would have given the disbelievers.
Study days 9-15
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ فَقَالَ…بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
The bracelets of gold demanded as proof; the ridicule of 'Isa as an example; and: this is a straight path, so follow me.
Study days 16-22
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةًۭ وَهُمْ…فَٱصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌۭ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Close friends become enemies except the God-fearing; the call to Malik; and the closing: turn away from them and say 'peace'.
Study days 22-30
'We follow what we found our fathers upon' appears four times in this surah — it is the objection the whole of it was written to dismantle.
