At-Takwir gives twelve consecutive images of the world coming apart — each one a single clause — and then swears by the stars that the one bringing this news is trustworthy. The first half is a list, which is what makes it memorable.
At this pace the whole surah takes 10 study days.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ…عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ
The sun folded, the stars dimmed, the mountains moved, the seas set alight — and every soul knowing what it brought.
Study days 1-5
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ…وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
An oath by the receding stars; Jibril described, the Prophet cleared of madness, and the will that is not yours alone.
Study days 5-10
Among the twelve upheavals is one social question: the buried infant girl asked for what sin she was killed — set beside the sun folded up, as an event of the same order.
