Ash-Sharh continues the surah before it, listing what was already done for the Prophet and then giving the sentence that carried the early Muslims through Makkah: with hardship comes ease — stated twice.
At this pace the whole surah takes 3 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
The breast expanded, the burden removed that weighed down the back, and the mention raised.
Study days 1-2
Stated twice, then the instruction: when you are free, exert yourself, and to your Lord direct your longing.
Study days 2-3
It closes with an instruction not to rest: when you are free, work, and turn to your Lord — relief is not the end of the task.
A short walk through all 2 sections of this surah, in the order you will memorise them.
