As-Saff asks why people say what they do not do, sets out how Musa and 'Isa were treated by those who claimed to follow them, and then offers a trade: belief and striving in exchange for forgiveness and gardens.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى…ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ
The hatred of that, the ranks Allah loves; Musa's people who deviated, 'Isa's glad tidings, and the light that will be completed.
Study days 1-3
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰرَةٍۢ تُنجِيكُم…طَّآئِفَةٌۭ ۖ فَأَيَّدْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ ظَٰهِرِينَ
Belief and striving for forgiveness and gardens, help from Allah and a near victory — and: be the helpers of Allah.

The word 'trade' is used deliberately — the surah presents the whole of the religion as a transaction whose terms are stated openly before you accept.
