An-Naziat swears by the angels who take souls, then tells the story of Musa and Pharaoh as the case study, then turns to the sky and the earth, and closes on the question the Prophet was repeatedly asked: when is the Hour?
At this pace the whole surah takes 16 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًۭا…فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ
Five oaths by the angels, then the day the quaking one quakes and hearts on that day tremble.
Study days 1-5
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ…إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ
Sent to a man who had transgressed, the gentle offer to purify himself, the great sign, and the lesson taken.
Study days 5-9
ءَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ ۚ بَنَىٰهَا…مَتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
Which is harder to create, and the earth spread out with its water, pasture and mountains, for you and your cattle.
Study days 9-11
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ…فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
The day a man remembers what he strove for, and the two destinations set out in four verses.
Study days 12-14
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا…يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا
The question refused an answer, and the closing image: on the day they see it, they will have stayed only an evening.
Study days 14-16
Pharaoh is placed in the middle of a surah about the Hour for a reason — he is the example of a man who had every warning and asked for one more.
