An-Nahl is called the surah of blessings: it lists what has been given — cattle, rain, the sea, the stars, honey from a bee that was inspired — and then asks what is done with it. It ends with the instruction on how to call people to this.
At this pace the whole surah takes 43 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا…مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
The cattle with their warmth and food, the horses to ride and as adornment, the rain, the sea and the stars you find your way by.
Study days 1-12
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا…ٱلْكِتَٰبَ تِبْيَٰنًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
Your Lord inspired the bee; the drink of varying colours in which is healing; the face darkened at the news of a girl; and the parables struck for people.
Study days 12-30
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ وَإِيتَآئِ ذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ…جَٰهَدُوا۟ وَصَبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Justice, excellence and giving to relatives; the woman who unravelled her yarn after spinning it; and the town that was secure and denied the favours of Allah.
Study days 30-37
يَوْمَ تَأْتِى كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ تُجَٰدِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ…إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُم مُّحْسِنُونَ
Do not let your tongues invent 'this is lawful and this is forbidden'; Ibrahim was a nation by himself; and: call with wisdom and good instruction.
Study days 37-43
The method verse — call with wisdom and good instruction, and argue in the best way — is the last thing said after a hundred and twenty verses of evidence.
