An-Naba opens on a question people were already arguing about and answers it in three moves: look at what has been made for you, then at the Day of Decision, then at what the God-fearing are given. Forty verses, four clear blocks.
At this pace the whole surah takes 14 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ…ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
What they are asking each other about, and the twice-repeated warning that they will come to know.
Study days 1-2
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا…وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا
The earth a bed, mountains as pegs, sleep as rest, night as covering, and water poured from the clouds.
Study days 2-6
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتًۭا…فَذُوقُوا۟ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
The trumpet, the sky opened as gates, the mirage of the mountains, and the ambush waiting for the transgressors.
Study days 6-10
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا…مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْكَافِرُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ تُرَٰبًۢا
Gardens, a full cup, no idle talk heard, and the day a man looks at what his own hands sent ahead.
Study days 11-14
The signs listed here are all ordinary — sleep, night, rain, mountains — and the argument is that a world arranged this carefully was not arranged for nothing.
