Al-Waqi'ah sorts every human being into three groups in its first dozen verses and then spends the rest of the surah describing each one in turn. Memorising it is easier once you can see that it is a classification, not a sequence.
At this pace the whole surah takes 32 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ…فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
The earth shaken, the ranks lowered and raised, and mankind sorted into right, left, and foremost.
Study days 1-4
ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ…وَثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Thrones woven, cups of a flowing spring, thornless lote trees, and companies from the first and the last.
Study days 5-14
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ…هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
Scorching wind and black smoke, and those who insisted on the great sin and swore the dead are never raised.
Study days 14-19
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ…فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Your own creation, the seed you sow, the water you drink, and the fire you strike — who is behind each?
Study days 19-25
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ…فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
An oath by the positions of the stars, the soul at the throat, and the three destinations restated.
Study days 25-32
The proofs in the middle of the surah are all things people do every day — planting, drinking, lighting a fire — and each is turned back on them with the same question: who actually does this?
