Al-Qamar is the most rhythmic surah in the Qur'an: five destroyed nations are told in the same shape, and after each one comes the same sentence — 'We have made the Qur'an easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?'
At this pace the whole surah takes 19 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُ…مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِ ۖ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌۭ
A sign seen and called passing magic; every matter settled, and the day the caller calls to something terrible.
Study days 1-3
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌۭ…كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍۢ مُّقْتَدِرٍ
Nuh, 'Ad, Thamud, the people of Lut and the family of Pharaoh — each followed by: We have made the Qur'an easy to remember.
Study days 3-14
أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌۭ فِى…فِى مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍۢ مُّقْتَدِرٍۭ
The gathering that will be defeated, everything recorded in the scriptures — and the God-fearing in gardens and rivers.
Study days 15-19
That refrain is a claim the surah makes about itself, and its own structure is the evidence: the repetitions are what make it memorable.
