Al-Mu'minun opens with a definition — seven things that make believers successful — and then spends the rest of the surah showing nations that had none of them. It closes on a prayer the Prophet was told to make.
At this pace the whole surah takes 40 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ…ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Humility in prayer, turning from idle talk, zakat, chastity, keeping trusts and covenants — and guarding the prayers.
Study days 1-4
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن سُلَٰلَةٍۢ مِّن طِينٍۢ…وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ
The stages of creation named one by one, then the water sent down, the gardens, the olive, and the cattle you ride.
Study days 4-8
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟…وَأُمَّهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ وَءَاوَيْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَىٰ رَبْوَةٍۢ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍۢ وَمَعِينٍۢ
The ark and the boiling oven, generations raised and destroyed, Musa and Harun with clear proofs, and 'Isa and his mother sheltered on high ground.
Study days 8-17
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ كُلُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ صَٰلِحًا ۖ إِنِّى…بَابًۭا ذَا عَذَابٍۢ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
One nation, then sects each rejoicing in its own; and those who give what they give with hearts fearful.
Study days 17-26
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا…وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ وَٱرْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
Whose is the earth and who protects it; the request to be sent back and the barrier behind them — and: my Lord, forgive and have mercy.
Study days 26-40
The seven qualities begin and end with prayer: humility in it, and guarding it. Everything else is placed between those two.
