Al-Kafirun answers an offer to alternate worship — a year of theirs, a year of his — with a refusal repeated four times and then a single line that settles it. It is recited in the two rak'ahs of tawaf and before sleep.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ…وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
Say: O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship, nor are you worshippers of what I worship.

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ…لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
The refusal repeated in the past tense, and then: for you your religion, and for me mine.

The repetition is the argument: an offer put four different ways is refused four times, and the last verse concedes nothing while starting no fight.
