Al-Hijr carries the guarantee that the Reminder will be preserved, and around it places the creation of man from clay, the refusal of Iblis, the guests of Ibrahim, and the rock-carved dwellings of a people who thought they were secure.
At this pace the whole surah takes 33 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ…وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
And We are its guardian; the constellations, the winds that fertilise, and the treasuries of everything that come down in a known measure.
Study days 1-9
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍۢ مِّنْ حَمَإٍۢ مَّسْنُونٍۢ…وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ
Man from sounding clay of altered mud; the respite until a known day; the seven gates — and: inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Study days 9-17
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ…فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
The news that startled an old man; the people of Lut at dawn; the people of the thicket; and the dwellers of Al-Hijr who carved safe houses from the mountains.
Study days 17-28
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ…وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
Lower your wing to the believers; do not strain your eyes at what We gave others; and worship your Lord until the certainty comes to you.
Study days 29-33
'And We have certainly given you seven of the oft-repeated verses and the great Qur'an' is said to a man being mocked — the surah answers ridicule by naming what he already has.
