Al-Haqqah names four nations destroyed, describes the trumpet and the weighing of records, and then swears — by what you see and what you do not — that this is the speech of a noble messenger and not of a poet.
At this pace the whole surah takes 18 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَآقَّةُ…لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةًۭ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌۭ وَٰعِيَةٌۭ
Thamud by the overpowering blast, 'Ad by a furious wind of seven nights and eight days, Pharaoh and the overturned towns.
Study days 1-4
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ…لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَٰطِـُٔونَ
The earth and mountains crushed at once, the record in the right hand and behind the back, and the fire for one who did not urge feeding the poor.
Study days 5-13
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ…فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
An oath by the seen and the unseen; not a poet's, not a soothsayer's — and what would happen if he had invented it.
Study days 13-18
The oath at the end includes 'and what you do not see', which is the surah's way of saying that the evidence being demanded is not the only kind there is.
