Al-'Asr is three verses that Ash-Shafi'i said would have sufficed people had nothing else been revealed. It states a universal loss and then names the only four things that get anyone out of it.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَصْرِ…إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ
By time — man is in loss, stated without exception before the exception comes.

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ
Except those who believed, did righteous deeds, counselled one another to truth and counselled one another to patience.
Study days 1-1
Two of the four are things you cannot do alone — counselling one another to truth and to patience — which is why this surah is about company as much as about belief.
