Adh-Dhariyat begins with four oaths by the wind, moves through the guests of Ibrahim and the peoples destroyed after him, and arrives at the sentence that states why anything exists at all.
At this pace the whole surah takes 20 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا…ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ
Four oaths, the God-fearing who slept little of the night and asked forgiveness before dawn — and the signs within yourselves.
Study days 1-8
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ…وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ
The visitors Ibrahim did not know, the news of a son, the old woman striking her face, and the people of Lut.
Study days 8-13
وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ…ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
Musa and Pharaoh, 'Ad, Thamud and the people of Nuh — then the sky built with power, and: flee to Allah.
Study days 13-17
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ…فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
Every messenger called a magician or a madman — and: I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
Study days 18-20
'And in yourselves — will you not see?' comes before any of the history: the surah asks the reader to look inward before it asks him to look back.
