'Abasa is the surah in which Allah corrects His Messenger over a blind man who came asking to learn while the Prophet was occupied with the chiefs of Quraysh. It then moves to man's ingratitude and closes on the Day when a man flees from his own brother.
At this pace the whole surah takes 14 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ…كِرَامٍۭ بَرَرَةٍۢ
The frown corrected, the man who might have been purified, and the honour of the scrolls he was being kept from.
Study days 1-6
قُتِلَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكْفَرَهُۥ…مَّتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
From a drop, then the way made easy; and the food he eats traced back to the water and the split earth.
Study days 6-11
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ…أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَفَرَةُ ٱلْفَجَرَةُ
The day a man flees from brother, mother, father, wife and children — and two kinds of face.
Study days 11-14
The correction was preserved and recited for all time, which is itself the argument that the Qur'an was not authored by the man reciting it.
