Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Haqq al-Sunbati, a 10th-century Hijri Egyptian Shafi'i reciter and jurist who wrote a commentary on the Shatibiyya and headed Qur'an teaching in Cairo and at the Ahmadi Mosque in Tanta. He studied with Zakariyya al-Ansari's circle and his own father, and his students included Abd al-Rahman ibn Shihadha al-Yamani and Sayf al-Din al-Fudali.
