Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Munayyar al-Samannudi was an Egyptian Qur'an reader and jurist born in Samannud. He took the readings from Ali al-Rumayli among others, wrote commentaries on the Tayyiba and the Durra as well as treatises on creed and astronomy, and lived close to a hundred years.
