Nuh is one man's account of nine hundred and fifty years of calling people who put their fingers in their ears. It records the argument he used, the idols they refused to leave, and the prayer he made at the end.
At this pace the whole surah takes 10 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ…بِأَمْوَٰلٍۢ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَٰرًۭا
Calling openly and in secret, fingers in their ears — and the offer: ask forgiveness, and He will send rain, wealth, children and gardens.
Study days 1-4
مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًۭا…لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟ مِنْهَا سُبُلًۭا فِجَاجًۭا
Seven heavens in layers, the moon a light and the sun a lamp, and the earth spread out as a carpet.
Study days 5-7
قَالَ نُوحٌۭ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِى وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَن لَّمْ…مُؤْمِنًۭا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا
Wadd, Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq and Nasr; the drowning, and his prayer for himself, his parents and every believer.
Study days 7-10
His argument for seeking forgiveness was entirely worldly — rain, wealth, children, gardens — because that was what they wanted, and he offered it to them.
