Ibrahim states the purpose of revelation in its first verse — to bring people out of darkness into light — and holds the prayer Ibrahim made standing in an empty valley, asking for a settled town before there was anything there.
At this pace the whole surah takes 18 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ الٓر ۚ كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ…وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
Every messenger sent in the tongue of his people; the days of Allah; and: if you are grateful, I will surely increase you.
Study days 1-4
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ…ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ
The messengers threatened with expulsion; the water of pus; and the good word like a firm tree against the bad word torn from the ground.
Study days 5-9
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفْرًۭا…وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
A settlement with no crops asked to be made secure; hearts inclined towards it; and the day the earth is changed for another earth.
Study days 10-18
The parable of the good word as a tree with firm roots and branches in the sky is followed immediately by the bad word as a tree torn from the surface with no stability — the contrast is entirely about what is underground.
