Abu al-Salah Ali ibn Muhsin al-Sa'idi al-Rumayli was a Maliki Shadhili Qur'an teacher from Upper Egypt in the twelfth Hijri century. He wrote 'Nayl al-Maram' on the readings and a work on the virtues of Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhili and Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi. Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Samannudi (al-Munir) was among his students.
