Mustafa ibn Ali ibn Umar al-Mihi, a Shafi'i of the Ahmadi mosque, was a scholar of the readings in Tanta in the 13th century AH. He learned from his father Ali al-Mihi and from Salim al-Nabtiti; his students include Sulayman al-Shahdawi and Ali Saqr al-Jawhari. He wrote 'Fath al-Karim al-Rahman fi Tahrir Ba'd Awjuh al-Qur'an', finished in 1229 AH. He was born around 1170 AH and died around 1235 AH.
