Taqi al-Din Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Khaliq, known as Ibn al-Sa'igh, was an Egyptian Shafi'i reciter born in 636 AH. He read the readings with al-Kamal Ali ibn Shuja' al-Darir among others and became the leading Qur'an teacher of Egypt, teaching at the Taybarsiyya school and the Mosque of Amr ibn al-As. He died in Cairo in 725 AH.
