Abu Adi Abd al-Aziz ibn Ali al-Misri, known as Ibn al-Imam, was a reciter and hadith transmitter who headed Qur'an teaching in Egypt in the fourth Hijri century and held one of the highest chains of his time. He read the Warsh transmission via al-Azraq with Abu Bakr Abdallah ibn Malik ibn Sayf al-Tujibi and others, and his last student was Ahmad ibn Nafis.
