Abu Abdallah Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, known as al-Saghir, was a Qur'an teacher in Fez in the ninth Hijri century. He took the readings from Abu al-Abbas Ahmad al-Filali, a student of Abu Abdallah al-Fakhkhar, and taught them to Imam Ibn Ghazi of Meknes, making him a link in the Moroccan chain of readings.
