Baghdadi Qur'an reciter of the 4th century AH who specialised in the readings and studied with a number of Baghdad masters. His best-known student was Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad al-Hammami. His exact death date is not recorded; Ibn al-Jazari estimated he lived until about 350 AH.
