Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Umar al-Kinani al-Qayjati was an Andalusian reciter of Nasrid Granada. He read with his father, with Abu Abd Allah ibn Musa'id al-Ghassani and with the judge Abu Ali ibn Abi al-Ahwas; Lisan al-Din ibn al-Khatib and Abu Ja'far Ahmad ibn Yusuf ibn Malik al-Ru'ayni were among those who took from him. He died in Granada and was buried at the Elvira Gate cemetery.
