Abu Ja'far Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Ru'ayni of Granada was an Andalusian grammarian and poet. In 738 AH he travelled east with his companion Ibn Jabir the blind (the pair were called 'the blind and the seeing'), studied in Cairo and Damascus, and settled in Aleppo for about thirty years, where he died. His works include Tiraz al-Hulla, a commentary on Ibn Jabir's badi'iyya.
