1333 – 1429 AH / 1914/15 – 2008 CE No. 30, 33 en las cadenas de transmisión del Profeta ﷺ مصر
Ibrahim Ali Shahata al-Samannudi, Egyptian reciter born in Samannud, Gharbiyya, on 22 Sha'ban 1333 AH. He read the seven with Muhammad Abu Halawa and the ten with al-Sayyid Abd al-Aziz Abd al-Jawad, then the major ten with Hanafi al-Saqqa in Cairo. He taught tajwid and the readings at al-Azhar for twenty-five years and sat on the committee recording the recited mushafs. He wrote many works, including La'ali' al-Bayan and al-Tuhfa al-Samannudiyya; his students include Abd al-Fattah al-Marsafi and Ayman Suwayd. He died on 7 Ramadan 1429 AH.
