A reader from Damietta and author of Ithaf Fudala' al-Bashar on the fourteen readings. He studied with Sultan al-Mizahi, Ali al-Shabramallisi, Nur al-Din al-Ajhuri and others; Ahmad al-Isqati and Muhammad al-Budayri were among his students. He died in Medina in 1117 AH.
