Abu Hafs Umar ibn al-Khattab al-Qurashi al-Adawi, the second rightly guided caliph. Readings of Qur'anic words are transmitted from him, and Abu al-Aliya al-Riyahi said he read the whole Qur'an to Umar four times. He ruled ten and a half years and was killed on a Wednesday, 26 Dhu al-Hijja 23 AH.
