Ahmad al-Misiri of Egypt, a leading student and son-in-law of Nasir al-Din Muhammad b. Salim al-Tablawi. He moved from Egypt to Istanbul, where he was among the first to spread the readings through al-Tablawi's chains; among his students there was Muhammad b. Ja'far al-Amasi, known as Awliya Efendi.
