Abu al-Ikhrit Wahb ibn Wadih of Mecca, chief reciter of Mecca. He read with Isma'il al-Qust, Shibl ibn Abbad and Ma'ruf ibn Mishkan; al-Qawwas and al-Bazzi read with him. He died in 190 AH.
