Zayn al-Din Ridwan al-Uqbi was an Egyptian Shafi'i hadith scholar and Qur'an reader, born in Minyat Uqba near Giza. He took the readings from Ibn al-Jazari and taught them to Zakariyya al-Ansari; he compiled a forty-hadith collection and a work on Shafi'i scholars, and died in Cairo.
