Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Ahmad al-Waki'i was a well-known blind reader of Baghdad. He transmitted the reading of Shu'ba from his father Ahmad ibn Umar, from Yahya ibn Adam; Ibn Mujahid and Ja'far ibn Ahmad al-Wasiti took it from him, and al-Mahamili and Ibn Qani' narrated hadith from him.
