A Hanafi jurist of Damascus known as al-Rahmati. He studied with Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulusi, Mustafa al-Bakri and others, and emigrated to Medina in 1187 AH. He fell ill during the pilgrimage and died in the Hijaz in 1205 AH, being buried in Mecca.
