A walkthrough for an academy manager whose academy is currently closed and who wants to reactivate it: opening the Manage Academy page to see the closed state, understanding what to expect when reopening, locating the Reopen Now button, and knowing how outstanding balances are handled before the academy goes live again.
Sign in to kuttab.com as an academy manager whose academy is currently suspended. Open the Manage Academy page from the academy navigation. When the academy is closed every plan card shows a Reopen Now button and no Close Now button is visible.
In the closed state your academy public page is hidden from search results and no new students can enrol. All plan cards show a Reopen Now button so you can choose which plan to resume on. Your existing student and teacher roster, lesson history, and billing records are all preserved — nothing is deleted when an academy is closed.
Find the plan card that matches the subscription you want to resume. Each card shows the monthly price and feature list so you can pick the right tier. Click Reopen Now — a confirmation prompt appears before any charge is made. If your previous billing cycle left an outstanding balance the platform will display the amount due and ask you to settle it before the academy goes live.
Once the confirmation is accepted and any outstanding balance is settled, your academy is reactivated immediately. The public academy page reappears in search results, students can enrol again, and teachers can accept new invitations. A new billing cycle starts from the reopen date.
