Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Haqq al-Sunbati, an Egyptian Shafi'i jurist and reciter of the learned Sunbati family of Cairo. He studied with al-Marsafi among others; Abd al-Rahman ibn Shahadha al-Yamani and Sayf al-Din al-Fudali took the readings from him. He wrote on grammar, law and astronomy, and died at the end of the tenth Hijri century.
