Abu al-Wafa Ahmad ibn Muhammad, known as Ibn al-Ajl, was a blind Yemeni imam, Sufi and transmitter with high chains of narration. He studied with and was licensed by his father Muhammad ibn al-Ajl, then on pilgrimage took from the scholars of Mecca and Medina, among them the judge Jar Allah ibn Zahira. He lived from 983 to 1074 AH.
