A walkthrough of opening the course edit wizard, switching to the Photos and Videos tab, uploading a course thumbnail image, adding a YouTube preview link, and reviewing the Next button before moving to the Intended Learners step.
Sign in to your teacher dashboard and open Courses. Click the Edit button on your draft course to open the wizard. The wizard opens on the General tab — click the Photos and Videos tab to open the media upload section.
The Photos and Videos tab shows two upload areas. The top area is for the course thumbnail — a 16 by 9 image that appears on the course card and detail page. Click Upload File to choose a JPG or PNG image from your device that meets the stated dimensions and size limits.
The second area is for the course preview video. Paste a YouTube embed link into the Preview Link field to show a short trailer to prospective students. You can also upload a video file directly. The preview video is the first thing students see before enrolling.
Once both the course image and preview video are added, click Save next to the preview link to confirm the YouTube URL. Then click Next in the sidebar to move to the Intended Learners step of the wizard.
