Dr. Hagar Ibrahim: Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies Coordinator
Egypt – Where she received her education and began her teaching career.
Japan – Where she taught Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies at the Hiroshima Islamic Center to non-native Arabic speakers.
United States – Where she has been teaching at Tarbiyah Academy since 2015.
Dr. Ibrahim is a passionate and certified educator with 13 years of experience teaching Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies to both adults and children. She has taught in Egypt, Japan, and the U.S. and has been part of Tarbiyah Academy since 2015.
Born in Germany and raised in Egypt, she earned her bachelor’s from Al-Azhar and holds two master’s degrees—Qur’anic Science (Minnesota Islamic University, 2017) and Islamic Law (Minya University, 2020). She also holds the highest Qur’an Qiraa’at certification from Al-Azhar and an Ijazah (Sanad) in Hafs and Warsh recitations.
Dr. Ibrahim loves working in a creative, collaborative environment and believes in lifelong learning. Inspired by the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) words, "The best among you is the one who learns and teaches the Qur’an," she is committed to shaping future leaders through education.
