Our free online competition invited memorisers of every age to recite from Surah Al-Kahf, judged on memorisation, accuracy and tajweed. Ten reciters earned a Certificate of Excellence. Congratulations to each of them — and to every participant who prepared and took part.

Kuttab Colorado hosted this online Quran competition on Saturday 1 August 2026 at 2:00 PM Denver time. It was free to enter and open to everyone — beginners and advanced memorisers alike — and every reciter was judged on memorisation, accuracy and tajweed.
Surah Al-Kahf, The Cave, is traditionally recited every Friday, which made it a natural choice for a community-wide challenge. Competitors ranged from young memorisers taking their first steps to adult learners returning to the Quran.
