Hasan ibn Ali al-Awadi al-Badri was an Egyptian reader and son of a reader, raised by his father Ali al-Awadi al-Badri, with whom he memorised the Qur'an. A friend of the historian al-Jabarti, who gave him an obituary among the deaths of 1214 AH, he left a diwan of poetry and treatises.
